Idaho Accelerator Home ISIS Device Test Area
In e-beam mode the electron beam is extracted in air and the sample/DUT is at 0.5-6cm from the exit window. Dose is controlled by the current in the last beam-pipe magnet. The exit window is 4.5cm in diameter, defining the present exposure area (~15cm2) at the exit window.
  • Demonstrated dose rate in e-beam testing with good uniformity over 15cm2 is ~5x1013 Rad (C)/s.
