Idaho Accelerator Home 25 MeV LINAC in Main Accelerator Hall

The 25 MeV LINAC accelerator has been completely reconditioned and configured to offer higher beam currents, energies and repetition rates than it's original configuration as a medical CLINAC. In addition, the LINAC has four exit ports.
    Beam Parameters:
    Long pulse:
  • Instantaneous current: 80 milliamps/pulse max.
  • Pluse Width: 80ns to 2 µs
  • Repetition Rate: 1 shot to 1000 Hz

    Short pulse:
  • 20 to 50 ns
  • Instantaneous current: approximately 100 mA.
  • Energy range of 4-30 MeV
Cost: $250/hr
